How To Draw A Sparrow

Hey our friends today we're going to draw a sparrow yeah we hope you're going to follow along it's going to be a lot of fun you ready to start yes we're using our art for kids Hub markers to draw with and we also have marker paper to draw on these markers are alcohol-based so if you have the same set you can use the same colors but if you don't have the same markers that's okay you can use a different brand or even something completely different like colored pencils or even crayons okay.

Let's start by drawing our little Sparrow's eye we're going to draw it over here in the top left of our paper and we're going to draw a circle or oval shape and we can also color that in but leave a little highlight so the eye looks shiny okay now let's draw the beak and we're going to draw a shape that curves down a curve that comes down yeah and we're going to turn it into a shape we're going to curve down for the front of the beak and then the bottom of the beak we're we're going to draw a straight

diagonal coming back and we can connect that back in okay now let's draw the mouth and we're going to draw a curve to split that shape kind of a sideways triangle shape okay now let's draw the top of the head we're going to draw a curve coming over and down then we're going to draw right here underneath the beak we're going to draw a zigzag line and I just drawing it messy these are little feathers underneath the beak you don't have to worry about making it look exactly like mine now let's draw the belly we're

going to come down and curve underneath then right here let's draw the start of the first leg then we'll continue the belly coming up a little higher now let's draw the back and we're going to come down and connect well let's leave a little Gap like we are going to connect we can draw the tail next I'm going to come out and then we'll come back in and then connect yeah now let's draw the wing we're going to start here and we're going to draw a curve comes around for the shoulder and then we'll connect at

the back where the tail started then right here let's draw little U shapes or they kind of look like letter V's that are connected this is the feather texture on the wing and then we're going to draw that same letter U shape kind of connected going across these feathers or this texture will be white or or a lighter color then we'll come down a little ways and we're going to repeat that same pattern or Texture and then let's draw another set of them right below that one then right here let's draw lines for

the flight feathers I really love drawing Birds yeah they're awesome yeah and then we can do that same thing up here let's connect each of those little bumps with lines coming through now for the face let's draw a little zigzag right here on the forehead then we're going to go over the eye then we can draw more zigzags right here and then we're going to connect to the back of the head then right here let's draw a little spot I'm going to draw a line that comes forward and it got a little zigzag in it

we can draw a another little zigzag and then connect back some sparrows have these little spots on their cheek then underneath the eye we're going to draw a curve that comes forward like we're going to connect to the beak but we're going to curve down and draw more zigzag lines coming down to the chest next around the eye let's draw another oval so that there's a little white ring around the eye then let's color in the feathers or the shape right here underneath the beak and also above the

beak and around the eye but we want to make sure that we leave that little ring white oh and also let's color the spot underneath the eye now let's draw the legs we're going to start here on the belly and we're going to draw one leg this is the leg that's behind the bird and then right here we're going to draw a Talon that comes down and then we're going to curve up and we're imagining where the branch is oh actually let's switch to a pencil we didn't mention this at the beginning

but if you have a pencil that you can erase this might be fun to do because we can draw the branch coming through to the other side of our paper then let's draw the other side of the branch so that we know where it's at we could also draw maybe there's another Branch coming off and going forward this is going to help us imagine where that little branch is that our bird is sitting on now let's switch back to our marker and we can come over here and draw the next Talon coming down and then curving back

up and then one more Talon and then connect in the other side of the foot then we also want to draw a little line for the toe that's wrapping around the other side of the branch yeah okay now let's do the same thing here we're going to draw this foot coming down and then we can draw the first Talon curving and grabbing onto the branch and then we'll curve it back up and we're going to do that two more times for three toes and this other toe I spread out just for fun and then if maybe you can

see the back toe wrapping around okay now let's draw the branch we'll start over here and draw over the pencil line and then connect the feet and then continue off the pitch now let's draw the other side of the branch coming down going through the toes I'm going to stop here and then go forward with that other branch and then we can draw the other side and then connect through the toes and finish off the pitch Jack we did it we finished drawing our Sparrow it looks really cool except we still need to color it yes my

favorite part we are going to fast forward so remember to pause the video at the end and take time to color your drawings you can use ours as inspiration before we color though let's use our eraser and erase any guidelines we can still see and we did it Jack we finished our Sparrow and it turned out awesome I especially love yours you guys' drawings are always my favorite thanks you can pause the video right now to match our same coloring you can use it as inspiration and also change your drawings any way you want you can add a background or even draw more sparrows oh that would be awesome both of our drawings don't look exactly the same but they both turned out awesome.

Yeah they did that's because the most important thing is to have fun yeah and to practice practice we'll see you later our friends goodbye.
