How To Draw A Funny Lemon Cartoon

Hey our friends today we're learning how to draw a funny lemon I hope you're going to follow along with me you need your drawing supplies let's get started I'm using markers to draw on color with I also have marker paper to draw on now if you have the same set or art for kids Hub markers you can follow along with the same color numbers but also remember you don't have to use the same supplies you can use color pencils crayons or even something completely different like oil pastels or waterolor before we use

our marker to draw with we're going to use a pencil to draw the general shape of our lemon when start here and we'll draw an oval shape or we're going to draw it really big and you can also press lightly so that it's easier to erase at the end but that's it that's all we're going to use our pencil for then we can switch back to our marker and we're going to draw the top of our lemon first they have these little dimples that kind of or bumps that stick out and then we're going to

draw one down here at the bottom too then we're going to switch to our eraser and we'll erase the guideline for the pencil line inside of these little bumps then let's switch back to our marker and we can trace on top of the pencil down the left side and connect to the bottom and then we could do the same thing on the right side Trace over the pencil and connect down here at the bottom and there's a the main shape of our lemon let's add a stem I'm going to draw two lines sticking out of of the

top and we can also draw a little curve to connect and then let's draw a leaf sticking out to the side so we'll draw the inside of the leaf curving to the right then we going to draw the outside shape of the leaf curving over the top and then also on the bottom to connect also added a little S curve at the end to make the leaf curling and we did it there's our lemon nice and simple except we still need to color it oh and also it doesn't look very funny let's color it first and then we'll add the

funny face after I'm using 33 yellow for the lemon and we we'll color it in solid this part will speed up so remember to pause the video and take time to color your drawings when you're coloring with alcohol-based markers and you go over the black marker it will smear it is supposed to smear like this because you can use it for blending colors together and sometimes it's just an accident especially when we're going over the black but if you go over the black and then you bring it into the

yellow it'll create a little Shadow which is kind of fun but let's switch to number 23 and add a Shadow using an orange marker I'm going to draw it coming down and going over that black that we already added we we can also use this orange to add a little texture to our lemon now I'm using 59 green to color in the stem and also the leaf then you can use a darker green 46 to add a little Shadow the bottom of the stem and also going down the leaf you can also use the dark green to add texture to the leaf now let's switch

back to our black marker to add the funny face I'm going to draw a big mouth curving in the middle and then I'm going to turn it into a bigger Jelly Bean shaped mouth and then we can add teeth and to draw letter 's and connect them together for the top teeth and then also the bottom teeth I'm add one more tooth on each side and then we can draw a tongue inside and then let's color in the left side or the back of the mouth then we can draw the eyes I'm going to draw them way out here on on

the left side and we can add a little highlight and then color around the outside of that highlight there we go now because we added the funny face later I'm going to use a white acrylic marker so this is a paint marker and we can add the white back in on top of the yellow and I'm going to also do this for the teeth then we can also add a little highlight on the lemon itself and even add little texture dots also I have a pink paint marker to color in the tongue oh also like adding a reflection using my blue color pencil the bottom of

each eye and for the last step I'm going to trace around the outside of my lemon to make the outside thicker and we finished our funny lemon I hope you took time to color your drawings you could add even more things to your drawing maybe a background or more lemons you can also change the funny face but especially remember it's okay if your drawings look different than mine the most important thing is to have fun and practice and I really hope you did have a lot of fun following along with me and drawing a lemon and
